Credit Risk Modeler, Sr. - TX

The Risk modeling Analyst is mainly responsible for providing risk analytical support for LoanDepot LLC.

The analyst should have solid statistical modeling and analytical background with experience of data manipulation to provide analytical support for implementing, calibrating, and monitoring fraud/credit/behavior/response models.

 

Qualifications: < /p>

  • Strong knowledge of advanced math terminology, econometric/statistical analysis and financial modeling techniques.
  • Ability to understand data segmentation, model development and validation, macroeconomic performance and credit loss forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation in order to prioritize tasks.
  • Understanding of financial and accounting principles, terminology and concepts.
  • Detailed oriented and well organized with the ability to work independently & manage projects and deadlines

 

 

Education and Experience: 

 

Senior:  

  • Master's degree or higher in a field that provides a strong background in finance, economics and statistical methods. 
  • 2+ year experience in Credit Risk or related field. Experience in the development, use, and validation of statistical models for measuring risk within finance field is highly preferred.
  • Advanced SAS programming abilities required; knowledge of additional programming languages (SQL, etc.) is a plus.
